The 2022 Beringer Private Reserve Chardonnay is a distinguished Napa Valley white wine, celebrated for its depth and elegance. Crafted primarily from the Gamble Ranch vineyard in Oakville, this Chardonnay underwent 11 months of aging in 60% new French oak, with full malolactic fermentation and weekly lees stirring to enhance its creamy texture. The wine presents a rich bouquet of golden apple, yellow plums, and a touch of banana peel, complemented by aromas of chamomile tea leaves, hawthorn, and browned toast. On the palate, it offers a medium- to full-bodied profile with a creamy texture and soft acidity, balanced by underlying herb and mineral layers. This vintage is approachable in its youth yet promises to evolve beautifully with careful cellaring .
