A distinguished blended Demerara rum from Demerara Distillers Limited’s Diamond Distillery, the last standing distillery in Guyana, crafted following the Demerara Rum Geographical Indication. This complex blend combines column and pot still rums distilled from molasses in historic wooden stills—Enmore Coffey (EHP), Port Mourant vat (PM), Versailles vat (REV), and Diamond Coffey (SVW). Matured for at least 15 years in ex-bourbon barrels, it offers aromas of candied orange, almond cookies, and vanilla. The rich palate reveals notes of fresh and dried fig, milk chocolate, black cherry, subtle smoke, and finishes with hints of freshly ground coffee, cacao, and allspice. At 40% ABV, this expertly balanced rum is a benchmark of Caribbean aged rums and a favorite of Master Blender Sharon Sue-Hang-Baksh.
