Enjoy this wine now or cellar it for up to eight years without the need for decanting. Domaine d'Ardhuy, established by Gabriel Liogier d’Ardhuy and Eliane in the late 1940s, is a distinguished family estate in Burgundy encompassing around 40 hectares, including renowned grands crus and premiers crus. Since 2016, winemaker Vincent Bottreau has guided the estate. The Bourgogne Chardonnay 2020 is crafted from 15-year-old vines in the Mâconnais region’s La Roche-Vineuse, planted in diverse soils of clay-limestone, clay-silt, and flint, ensuring a harmonious balance. Fermented in temperature-controlled steel tanks, this wine displays a bright golden hue and a fresh, fragrant bouquet of citrus, green apple, white flowers, and acacia. Its palate is refined and lively, with elegant freshness, smooth texture, and a persistent, refreshing finish, pairing exquisitely with poultry and snails.
