Rooted in tradition, our vineyards trace back to the early 20th century, with the 1930s marking a pivotal evolution when Cesare Porello developed our estate into a dedicated winery. His legacy was carried forward by his sons, Riccardo and Ettore, who, defying trends, committed fully to vineyard cultivation. Since 1994, I, Marco, Riccardo’s son, have upheld our unwavering focus on quality across all our wines. Our Nebbiolo, Arneis, and Favorita grapes thrive in Vezza d’Alba’s mineral-rich, sandy soils, while Barbera and Roero Torretta benefit from Canale d’Alba’s clay-infused land and southwest exposure, ensuring optimal grape ripening.
