The Nana Winery’s history is intimately tied to its desert surroundings—a tale of perseverance, passion, and shared vision between Eran Raz and Niv Ben Yehuda. Eran, affectionately called “Nana,” was born with a deep connection to the desert. In 2004, he and his family relocated to Mitzpe Ramon to pursue their dream. By 2007, they planted vineyards at 800 meters elevation in the Zin River's upper reaches, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Syrah, Chardonnay, and Chenin Blanc. In early 2014, Niv Ben Yehuda, owner of 3 Corners Winery, identified their grapes as true expressions of desert terroir, setting the foundation for a distinguished Israeli winery.
