Tassi is a young farm considering the wine-growing heritage of Montalcino, but distinguishes itself by the high quality of its grapes and constant production innovation. Knowledge, competence, dedication are what make this family owned farm so outstanding. It is from the rooted passion of the Tassi family and the masterly skill of oenoligist Alberto Antonini, that the wines grown on the slope of the antique manor of Velona reveal all the flavors of the noble land of Montalcino.
Terrifically fresh, with pomegranate, allspice, espresso bean, and cedar. Rich, round, and energetic with blood-orange acidity, sweet red berries laced with minerals, and intensely grippy tannins that resolve on the long, earthy and dried floral finish.
Lots of sweet berries with plum and cherry aromas that follow through to a full body with plenty of ripe tannins, yet they are polished and savory. Very juicy. Bright and tangy finish. Balanced and fresh.
