Its aroma bursts with bright notes of cedar, black currant, sarsaparilla, fresh licorice, cloves, aniseed, and hints of smoked meat. On the palate, it offers a medium-bodied texture, beginning with a concentrated core of dark fruits that linger pleasantly. VinousA deep color in the glass. The 2021 Sexy Beast is open for business and immediately launches into decadent and luscious blackcurrant jam and dark chocolate aromas but is nicely tempered by a gentle leafiness and toasty oak. It continues in the bold, high-octane style on the palate with significant upfront impact and then dense, dark berry fruit touches with serious power and length. Juicy acidity and oak tannins also provide a good backbone to enjoy over the short to medium term.
